Veeam agent for windows : Retention time

I have defeined a backup of a win machine using win agent:
run weekly (sunday), run full backup monthly each first sunday, keep backups for the past 30 days.
the win machine runs permantly.
Result : full backup on sep 23, 2018, 30 incremental backups from narch 3, 2018 until sep 23,2018 !??!
This is confusing:
- why some many old incrementals ?
- why only one full backup ?
This behavior is not corresponding to the documnetation - also not as it should be from my point of view.
Is there a misunderstanding on my side ?

Just to confirm I understand the settings you have set up. What you've described refer to the the settings of creating extra full backup in the backup chain, right?


What kind of job schedule and retention policy settings (here is an example of how it looks like for the local repository) are set for the your job?
