VAO install fail

Hi everyone,

I've tried several times to install VAO on a domain server.

The setup fails if I use a domain user (added to local administrators groups) at the "specify service account credentials" step.

What's wrong?

If I use the local "administrator" user the setup ends without error.

Hello Marco,

That's strange, because VAO requires domain accounts, and it certainly should work. Local administrator as service account would not be officially supported.

Is there perhaps some Domain policy that stops users (even members of Administrators) from Logging On As A Service?

Could you copy the exact error from setup logs please? You can post it here, and/or raise a Support case - they will be able to assist.

actually the user didn't have the log on as a service permission, my mistake.
