Migrate to production Failed

Post by burton_snow82 »

Hi,

I'm trying to restore my Vcenter backup with an Istant Recovery setting to "Restore to a new location".

The Istant Recovery work fine, but when I try to migrate it to production I receive this message:

A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond

How I can resolve this Issue?

It is worth contacting support to review IR logs for more definitive reason of the failure. Thanks!

Ok...I'm not in office right now....so Can I clone my Mounted VM directly from VSphere Web Client, and stopping publishing from veeam ?

Yes, you can do that. Migration to production via Veeam B&R is just intended to be a more seamless way of migration (minimum downtime). You can use replication with subsequent failover as well.

Btw, are you selecting the destination host directly? Since apparently the vCenter Server is not available, since you're restoring it.

Yes I've selected de destination host correctly :-(
So try to replicate the VM and after I will send Log to support.

Thank you very much!
