Nimble storage snapshots + SQL log backups?

We currently have nimble as our primary storage and backup arrays. We would like to move to using storage snapshots for our backups but have a few sql clusters. Veeam typically does a full backup of them nightly and the transaction logs in the background hourly.

How does/Can Veeam/Nimble handle hourly backing up of transaction logs with SQL while using the storage snapshot backups? Would it just continue to create additional storage snapshots?

SQL log backups don't create snapshots, they use the standard SQL log backup tools inside the VM in question (there is a Veeam Log Shipping service installed)
