Hi,
I've got an alarm fired by the event "HostSyncFailedEvent" and also other alarms related to the VMs running on this host(VmDisconnectedEvent). I checked vCenter and everything is up and running, no issues, no errors in the logs related to connectivity issues or others. What can have triggered these alarms and why the resolve status haven't been triggered?
Thank you.

Re: HostSyncFailedEvent
Hi Mark and welcome to the community!
HostSyncFailedEvent is generated when vCenter Server on ESXi host fails to syncronize.
The event is generated by VC and should be listed there.
Troubleshooting way is to check the availability of the host, it may be offline or disconnected in vCenter. Check the status of network connectivity and associated services such as DNS. Check the settings for the cluster such as DRS and HA which may have changed and impacted the compatibility of this host. Check status of the host for resource issues such as cpu and memory which may impact the vCenter agent daemon running in the host.
