certifi guide book and videos for VMCE

Post by frigomiam »

Hi,

I just wonder if there is any book or study guide I could buy to start working for VMCE ? I'm first interested to learn more about the technology. I'll schedule the 3 days course later..

example there
https://backitup.online/vmce-v9-5-study ... nline.html
I don't find any text book,

also are there any good online training videos ?
I'll start the free ones on veeam university but I guess they are not sufficient ?
I didn't find any cbtnuggets, pluralsight ...

thanks,
foggy

Hi Francois, I've asked the VMCE representative to comment.

You will get the books via the VMCE training. There is nothing available next to it. There are some practice exams but the only free courses available are those via the veeam university.

I am not aware of any third-party video training on Veeam products, sorry. So what could you use to prep. before the class? The long way, but well worth it, is to sit down with the user guide and start reading. If the user guide is a bit too much for you, then this community created unofficial study guide might be useful: https://www.perfectcloud.org/veeam/veea ... tudy-guide

As the official course includes almost all necessary topics I don't think that additional training videos would give you any benefit.
The most important part for the exam is experience and practicing. If you know topics where you lack of knowledge then try those in a lab and get some experience.

The study guide from Rasmus is really great and perhaps the webinars in Veeam Youtube channel can also give you some additional help.
