Hello,
I tried to search the forum for this kind of solution but didn't find anything relevant. So I am asking this again.
I made a full backup of PC1, PC2, PC3 ... with Veeam Agent. Backup is on exteranl USB drive with a policy writing on X: drive for every client.
I would like to import these backups on my repository, then link PC1, PC2, PC3 to the new imported backup in my Veeam Backup & Replication repository.
Obviously I would like to keep the same backup chain.
I followed this guide --> https://www.veeam.com/kb2321
but with no luck... Imported full backup do not move from "Imported" section.
Every time I start a backup job, a new folder in repository is created named "VeeamBackupAgent1234782369" with randon numbers.
The old folder with the name "Agent Backup - xyz" is ignored.
Is it possible to do that in some way?
What am I missing?
Thanks for your help
regards
Andrea

Re: Import a Full Backup from agent and map the incrementals to a repository
Hello Andrea.
How the backup files are stored on the file system prior performing import? Specifically I am interested in folder structure for the agent backups. Thank you in advance.Imported full backup do not move from "Imported" section.
