surebackup: Boot verification and stabilization

Post by balma01 »

In the "Verification options" of the surebackup job wizard we have the boot verification parameters :

considered the VM to have sucesfully booted when:
VM heartbeat is present
VM responds to ping on any network interface

My question is: If I do not flag the 2 options, it means that the stabilization point is reached only when the max allowed boot time is reached?
Or even if I do not flag the 2 options the Stabilization by IP is still used?
Hope to have been clear

Hi,

If you do not flag either of those two, then yes, a VM is considered to have reached a stabilization point when "Maximum alloted boot time" interval is exceeded.

Thanks!
