Can install agent remotely on physical server

i have read you documents but now have some questions :

1- Do i had to install veeam agent for linux manually on each physical server or i can install that through veeam backup & replication console ?

2- Do i have to install veeam agent for linux license for each physical server or can import that veeam backup replication console and will detect ?

Hi,

1 - you can install via VBR, but in order ro control agent via VBR you need to install agent license on VBR for it.
2 - you need to install agent license on VBR, connected agents will consume the license automatically

Veeam can install agents automatically. If you don't have agent license, you have to switch to full functionality mode .

So thanks but about linux agent . i have physical redhat 6 server since i was read in all of your documens it's quote that we have to install follow files manually on physical server :
kmod-veeamsnap-2.0.1.665-1.el6.x86_64.rpm
veeam-2.0.1.665-1.el6.x86_64.rpm
now what do i had to do ?

Those instructions are for manual installation. If you have installed .lic file on VBR, you can add linux servers into a protection group and install agents automatically.

1 - No, you can add it as an individual machine too. In this case the machine will be added to the default "Manually added" protection group, and VBR will install agents automatically.

actually we use protection group to add more than one physical server to VBR and it will install agent automatically on all of them

That's correct. You can add the servers one by one, but usage of Proteсtion Groups makes it easier to manage.
