Breaking the backup chain (Scheduling active fulls)

Hi All,

I cannot see any way to schedule an active full backup in the policies for AHV.

The options look to be:
-using Forever Forward or;
-manually triggering an Active Full backup.

Can this be triggered via a script as a work around?

Hi Kris, backup chain is indeed forever forward incremental and you can trigger active full manually. Currently there's no ability to do it via scripting. Thanks!

We do have improvements in scheduling on the roadmap. Not all the roadmap items will happen in the next release...

Can you say more on the use case / need for your scheduling this active full? There are multiple use cases and I wanted to know which one you have.
