Hi,

Did anyone stumble upon the following error during replication?

Processing configuration Error: NFC server [XXX] is busy. Failed to finish uploading of the file. VMFS file path: [%1].

I have multiple jobs running and some of the VM replications are failing with this error [eg. 10VMs in job, only 1-3 fails]. Retry helps in some/most cases, but several replicas were damaged (Detected an invalid snapshot configuration).

It seems that only replication is affected, backup is running without problems so far.

vCSA: 6.7U1
ESXi: 6.5U1/U2
Veeam: 9.5U3a + KB fix

Recent changes - vCSA upgraded to 6.7U1, ESXi and Veeam stayed on the same level.

I assume that by KB fix you mean this one? Please keep in mind that support for ESXi 6.5U2 is also limited.

Hi Andre,

Nope, unfortunately, the initial requestor has some issues related to the hosts losing their heartbeats and it was recommended to open a case with VMware.

In your case, I would recommend performing a separate investigation with our support team since the root cause could be different in your particular situation.

we are currently facing a similiar issue with Veeam FLR after upgrading to vSphere 6.7 (Build 10764712) in combination with Veeam B&R 9.5U3a + KB fix. Case reference #03349545. Our backup and replication jobs work fine, although "Other OS" - Restore jobs using Veeam FLR are not working anymore.

We were able to resolve the problem together with Veeam support. The problem was caused by our antivirus solution running on the backup server and blocking some Veeam processes required for FLR. See https://www.veeam.com/kb1999 for more details on how to configure antivirus exclusions. Thanks
