Hey all!
until now, my veeam backup jobs were done selecting "manually" each VMs.
i moved from a vcenter to another last week... but i think i did a little mistake, because i didn't use the "vcenter migration tool"... i saw this after :s
so in my job logs, i can see : <servername> is no longer processed by this job, make sure this change is intentional.. of course it's not "true", the server are in the job and well backuped.
do you know if it's possible to correct this?
question following the first one:
Now i created VM tags in the new Vcenter. So i'd like to use these tags in my jobs.
do i need to delete all my current jobs and recreate all jobs and select the Tags i want?
what about the existing backups if i modify the jobs?
thx mates
Lolo

Re: modify objects in jobs after vcenter move
VMs got new MorefIDs after migration, thus, they are considered new VMs from backup server perspective. As the backup server thinks that old objects are not processed any longer, it applies deleted VM retention to them with corresponding notice reported in job session.do you know if it's possible to correct this?
The message will go away after the specified deleted VM retention period.
Nope, just set a tag as new job source object.do i need to delete all my current jobs and recreate all jobs and select the Tags i want?
Thanks!
