New Repository - Change (Free) Windows Agent Settings

Post by mriksman »

Hi,

I have a licensed Veeam B&R server, which originally had the repository as a local drive. I'd like to change this to a NAS (SMB Share). However, I have a LOT of Free Windows Agents. Is there an easy way to change these clients to use the new repository? Or will each have to manually be changed? Could I just somehow edit the original repository location on Veeam B&R (the settings are all greyed out)?

Thanks.

Hi Michael,
since agents have free license, central management is not available. There may be some unsupported workarounds, but I would suggest to obtain full license where you can easily manage all your agents from VBR server.
Thanks!
