Hi,
We currently have have two hosts, call them ESXi_Source and ESXi_Dest01. We replicate a bunch of VM's from ESXi_Source to ESXi_Dest01. We now wish to provision a new server ESXi_Dest02 to gradually replace ESXi_Dest01. How might we go about doing this ? We don't care about history (i.e. we don't need to do anything fancy like copying the replicated VM's from ESXi_Dest01 to ESXi_Dest02 and then perform an incremental replication cycle).
Can Veeam cope with us doing something like
* Editing the replication job to target ESXi_Dest02 as apposed to ESXi_Dest01.
* Performing a replication cycle (which will presumeably be a 'full' cycle as the destination replica doesn't exist).
* Will Veeam be able to handle the replica existing on ESXi_Dest02 and ESXi_Dest01 for a certain time (until the retention policies kick in) ?
Or would we first have to
* Remove the Replicas from configuration (which means they will still exist on ESXi_Dest01 until manually deleted).
* Performing the steps above.

Re: Changing destination host
Removing existing replicas from database is not required, however, you can do that to avoid increment in the new replica VMs names (like 'VM1_replica (2)'). Other than that you can just change the target host in the job.
