Quick question on setting up a proxy for direct SAN configuration.
Is it advantageous to connect storage directly to the proxy server?
When data is transferred using direct SAN via the proxy... if you've specified the proxy server as a repository server for those jobs will the data flow directly to that local storage on the proxy or would it go out to the B&R server or somewhere else?

Re: Direct SAN Proxy Repository
Hi,
It will flow directly to the storage. In case you have several proxies, you can bind specific proxies to repositories.
Thanks

Re: Direct SAN Proxy Repository
So it is a good way to configure it if you have the hardware?
Better than using the proxy to send to a repository across the network, yes?

Re: Direct SAN Proxy Repository
This depends on the scenario.
It is a good and reliable way for storage processing and a huge amount of our customers do it that way.
