Veeam Linux Agent Entire Restore I finished. But it does not boot.

Post by dktldkzk »

Although English is weak and I do not understand, please help me.

Veeam Linux Agent Version : 2.0.1.665-1

Restore Linux OS : Redhat 6.8

I have recovered the entire volume.
But I have not been able to find a boot disk,
I am testing the environment to recover from a physical server to a virtualized server.
Is this the case? Help me

There's another problem.
I mounted the backed-up disc in USB.
If you choose Local Disk when recovering, you will not see the USB mounted volume.
I checked everything from the Command window to the mount. What should I do in this case?
I'm not good at testing and I need help.

Hi,

When a backup is restored to a different hardware (in your case from physical to virtual), the system might not be able to find and mount partitions due to the absence of required drivers. That is, you might need to regenerate initramfs first. Please see this article.

Thanks!
