Any benefit to Backup Copy (swapped USB drives) being ReFS?

Post by mvalpreda »

Just doing a sanity check......

Is there any benefit (Fast Clone, etc) when doing a Backup Copy job to rotated USB drive(s)? The main repository is ReFS and performing wonderfully - Fast Clone and Zero Space Full is some serious VOODOO :) The rotated USB drives are swapped fairly frequently, so thinking I won't get any benefit since there is going to be a new chain every time.

Correct, there are no benefits in this scenario except added reliability with file system level integrity streams.
