With the VBR 9.5 U4 (RTM) I first realized that it is possible to remove the VMW proxy service from the Veeam Backup & Replication (VBR) server itself.
Does anyone know if that's new with U4?
But far more important: besides of not having then a redundant VMW Backup Proxy are there any other contraindications to expect when removing it completely from the VBR server?

Why do you want to remove it?
I'm still on U3 and the option to remove it exists in that version too.
