Schedule Exclude/Suppress alarm for specific VM.
Hi,
We're just getting started with Veeam ONE and so far it looks great.
I was just wondering if it is possible to exclude/suppress an alert on a specific VM at a specific time.
Reason for asking is that one of our VMs does a data import/conversion overnight and it triggers the "Possible ransomware activity" alarm.
I know I can suppress that alert for everything at a certain time or I can exclude it from that specific VM completely but neither of those options are exactly what I want on their own.
If this isn't possible then fair enough but I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.
Thanks.
-Iain.

Re: Schedule Exclude/Suppress alarm for specific VM.
Hi Iain,
you can exclude the object from alarm completely or suppress the whole alarm. Individual suppression is not supported. As a workaround you can exclude the object from alarm and create(clone) the alarm with only this object in scope.
Thanks!

Ah, thanks. I didn't think of doing that.

No problem.
Thanks for the feedback, we will think of individual suppressions!

Just wondered about same thing and found 5 year old topic ( post169912.html?hilit=exclude%20time#p169912 ) where Schedule Maintenance mode was recommended for that.

Yes, it works as a workaround, but it disables all alarms for a specific object.
