API auth troubles while GUI working flawless

I spend more than 6h to find a cause, but no luck yet.

I've installad VBO (latest version) on a new server and added my first tenant.
Configured first backup and everything works fine.
Ok, so now enable the API auth en allow tenants to access their data using API.

When I now try to auth on this server, I get:

"error": "Authorization Error",
"error_description": "Invalid credential"
}

Although on my 'old' server with exact the same config, tenant and settings, I'm able to get a token.
Anyone an idea or direction for me to start troubleshooting this nasty thing ?

The REST logs can be found under "C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup365\Logs" which can assist you. Did you install everything correctly (VBO & explorers)? Are you leveraging the username and password correctly (user@domain.onmicrosoft.com + pass)? With the latest version do you mean patch 2 for VBO v2 (https://www.veeam.com/kb2809)?

Hi Niels, over-installing the patch 2 and bringing the environment from 2.0.0.567 to 2.0.0.814 did the trick !

Although one remark, after installing this patch and the necessary reboot, the API service becomes 'disabled' by default. (suggestion to add this to the release notes ?)
Putting this back to 'automatic' brings it back to life !

We'll update the KB with a note that disabling API service should be expected after applying this patch. Thanks!
