Hello!
In case of a large VMs with 15, 20 or mores disks that is being protected in 01 job with all disks, the backup chain will be created ( .vbk and vib ) with all disks in the same files VBK and VIB. The question is if possible to create a backup chain based in a DISK BASIS within one backup JOB.
Today i need to create several jobs processing each disk inside it, it works fines but the performance goes down because i can't run more than on job of the same VM at same time.

Re: Create one backup chain for each disk in a VM
Hello dcampregher.
Unfortunately it possible only with the mentioned workaround. Can you please elaborate why you would like to keep every disk in separate backup chain (also interested in the application and data residing on these disks)? Thank you in advance!

Re: Create one backup chain for each disk in a VM
I'd be careful with job-per-disk setup, there could be issues with entire VM restore, since disks are backed up at different points in time.
