Feature Request: File to Tape Reporting
I am working on v9.5 U4 and ran the Tape Backups report. All of my File to Tape job information does not show. Can we get this data added to the existing report or a separate report that shows this data? Right now I am working with incomplete data when reviewing our tape jobs.
This request has stemmed from the fact that when I review the weekly jobs it appears that the tape job will grab a file from the backup chain even if it is not the latest. I had issues with Windows Agent files grabbing the previous weeks file and writing that to tape, so I have a weekly tape with week old data on it. Some kind of reporting so I can review these issues rather than going through each line of the job would be very helpful.
Thank you!

Re: Feature Request: File to Tape Reporting
Hello Ryan,
Indeed there is no file-to-tape report showing the list of files transferred to tape. We've already started working on it, but faced UX and performance issues when thousands/millions of files are transferred with the job.
Once we have a solution, we publish the report.
Thanks for the feedback!
By the way, if you want to check statuses and statistics of file-to-tape job, you can leverage "Job History" report.

Re: Feature Request: File to Tape Reporting
I took a look and the Job History has a single line for the tape jobs that it was a success. My issue is I do not believe that the tape jobs are pulling the latest files and writing them to tape. So yes the job completes, but it completes with old data. I need to know what file is being written in each job.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Feature Request: File to Tape Reporting
I've got your request, it's totally sane.
As I said, the report is in the roadmap.
