We have several Dell R740 servers that we are testing restores on. So far, I have been unable to boot the servers to veeam recovery media. I have created media using the veeam console, via an agent on a Dell R740 running Server 2016. Even with this specific agent media, boot up freezes on the windows logo. I recently updated the BIOS from 1.1.7 to 1.6.13. This did not resolve the issue. Both USB and CD-R media behave the same.
Has anyone successfully booted to veeam agent media on a Dell R740?
This is being worked on as part of case # 03388150, but we haven't reached a solution yet.
Update: Seems like the BIOS update and waiting a long time for winRM to load fixed the issue.

Check for the boot mode in BIOS. You the RE was built on latest Windows you might need to change boot mode to UEFI to speed up the boot loader.Update: Seems like the BIOS update and waiting a long time for winRM to load fixed the issue.
