Feature requests Be able to Name the Network Traffic Rules

Post by mrholm »

Hi
I want to add a feature request to Network Traffic Rules management. We have central Veeam Servers that have multiple Proxies connected over WAN links and therfor we setup Traffic Rules from remote Proxy to central storage.
We want to be able to give the rules individual names to be easier to manage, today we only see Source and Target IP and when we have over 40 Proxies to one Veeam Server it makes it a Little bit hard to sort out which rules is for which site.
So if we could have the possibility to just set a logical name in the GUI to have when looking at the rules.

[MERGED] Feature Request: Sort Global Network Traffic Rules by name

Post by benteler »

Since 9.5 U4 it is possible in the Global Network Traffic Rules to insert names (for example from the location) where the network belongs to.
This helps us very much to handle out 130 locations.

Unfortunately it is not possible to sort this list in any way and you still have to "fight" to find the right location.

Hello,
and welcome to the forums.

Thanks for the feature request, totally makes sense, it's noted.

Best regards,
Hannes
