Hello
Currently I am using a 10 Band game to make a tape backup tape every Saturday at 3:00 am.
However for two weeks I have an error message that stops the TAP_BAK backup process.
Here is the error message : TAP_BKP Status WaitingTape

Hello and welcome to the community y.youyou.
This message represents that there is no free tape media in your media pool. To fix it you should add at least one tape media to the media pool you are using. If you have tapes listed under Free media pool, right click the desired tape and choose Move to option to assign free media to your media pool. Hope it helps!

Hello,
In order to solve the problem, I therefore reduced the retention from 8 weeks to 4 weeks.
Then I formatted the oldest tape is to restart the backup.
Backing up is restarting last Sunday is no mistake.
