I am doing forever forward incrementals to a Synology NAS using a SMB share. Initially the backup merge was taking around 10 minutes which already seemed like a long time. Now I am up to about 25-30 minutes on every backup. The average incremental that is being merged is about 10GB into a 1TB base file. I have tried different gateway servers on the repository as well as setting higher and lower concurrent task processing on the repository with no luck.
Any ideas for me or is this a normal amount of time for my setup?
