This is my lab.
Power Failed and then I attempted to start VM -Failed
So I figured I would delete the snapshots - then delete VM from ESXi.
It looks like I'm have a hosted VM Driectory now. I cannot delete the Directory via DStore Browser. IWhen I access the host via putty - and perform a 'ls' I recieve a directory listing with files and then 'No Such File Exists'.
If the only option is - I need to format my datastore - then OK. I would prefer to resolve by not doing so if I can.
Any tips?
I have restrted the host a few times.

Re: Lost Power During Veeam BU.
As far as I remember SSH is disabled by default on ESXi hosts, have you activated it in order to use PuTTy? By the way have you tried renaming this folder and then use FastSCP functionality to remove it?Wad4iPod wrote:IWhen I access the host via putty - and perform a 'ls' I recieve a directory listing with files and then 'No Such File Exists'.

Re: Lost Power During Veeam BU.
I have.
I am wondering if the problems are due to my trying to move the VM with (and including) the snapshots before actually deleting it. The move failed and I moved the VM files that had copied prior to failure back to the original source.
I did end up deleting the datastore to resolve.
Thank you for the help.
