Job Session Reports and periodic archival

Post by sosborne »

Hi,

Now I love Job Session reports. I find it very useful to be able to go back over past reports to compare performance since whatever change I have made and gauge expected results for other jobs. And generally they are no trouble.

That being said with some jobs particularly regular replications these can get to a point where they are onerous to open let alone use. Is there someway of either archiving off or deleting session reports for given periods of time? Or given the way they are stored/generated is this not possible (at least easily)?

Thanks in advance.

Simon

Hi Simon, you can configure sessions history retention, will that help? Thanks!

Yes it does thanks.

I do all of our replication on a separate server so I will limit that for now. And tweak the retention settings on the primary VBR server when necessary.
