Backup error, xml file not found in snapshot folder

Post by mitay »

08.02.2019 16:11:59 :: Error: The system cannot find the file specified.
Failed to open file [\\?\GLOBALROOT\Device\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy134\Hyper-V\vm\vapp\Snapshots\4FDE8324-EF97-47EE-99F1-644DFCA60A56.xml] in readonly mode.
Failed to open file [\\?\GLOBALROOT\Device\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy134\Hyper-V\vm\vapp\Snapshots\4FDE8324-EF97-47EE-99F1-644DFCA60A56.xml] for reading.

But the file location is H:\Hyper-V\vm\vapp\Virtual Machines\4FDE8324-EF97-47EE-99F1-644DFCA60A56.xml

Why does he look for the xml file in the snapshots folder?

Hyper-V 2012-R2, B&R 9.5 Update 4

Only a few VMs have this problem. There is no difference in setting between working and non-working VM.
Has anyone come across this? Where to dig?
