Feature request - Google cloud storage

Hi,
I work for a Google Cloud oriented organization and we would welcome support for Google cloud storage, in the way as Amazon S3 and Azure Blob.
Any plans for that?

This is something we're investigating, but unfortunately we are not ready to announce specific plans or timelines of Google object storage support at this time. Thank you for understanding!

Google Object Storage does have S3 front end, but it's currently missing one API call we rely upon - so at this time, we're not compatible.

We've been in touch with Google engineers regarding this issue, since both companies are very interested in working together. The good news is they keep evolving and enhancing their S3 API compatibility, so as soon as the missing API call is added, it will just work WITHOUT requiring a new Veeam release. They did even share some expected timelines with us, but it was under NDA so I cannot disclose. I'm sure you can get this information through your Google sales rep though.

A colleague here at Veeam tested using Minio (https://www.minio.io/) against a Google backend and it worked, so that's potentially a way to leverage Google cloud storage now with Capacity Tier until Google fixes their S3 implementation.

Not available, and unfortunately we cannot share any ETA at the moment - because as it stands right now, the compatibility through S3 API is on Google to implement (see the response from Gostev above). Thanks!
