Restore mailbox item exchange vm

I am new to veeam, and trying out the community edition of backup and replication. We have virtual exchange2016 enviroment running in vmware. The VM backups successfully, but when testing to restore a single email, I get a message about needing windows agent backup or enterprise edition. So does this mean on the community version I can not do a single mailbox item restore with a vm backup, or am I doing something wrong. Thanks in advance.

The community edition has the same features like standard edition. The differences are listed here

The limitation in standard edition is about restore to the same mailbox
