Feature Request: After backup, remain at last power state

Post by Morgenstern72 »

Veeam Agent for MS Windows 3.0.0.748 - Free Edition

It would be great to be able to configure backup that it goes back to the last power state.
So when my PC is running, the backup should let the PC running.
When it wakes my PC from sleep, it should put it to sleep again.

There is an option called "After backup is taken: computer should:", but I can only choose from "hard" options that don't respect the power state my PC was in before.

Explanation: I start my backup at 6:00am morning. Sometimes my PC is running at the moment, then it needs to stay running after the backup. Most times it is at Sleep, then it should go back to sleep,

Otherwise the free Agent is as fantastic as all your products (I use B&R since some years in different companies, never got a better backup!), thank you for providing it free!

Thanks for the kind words and the request. It's taken into account.
Just curious what is the "sleep delay" on your PC?

I don't have a sleep delay on my PC, it's often doing some background tasks (eg video encoding) and only goes to sleep when I put it to sleep.
