DFS replication (DFSR)

Greetings,

We have a prospective client that has an... interesting... setup.

One virtual DC and one physical DC collectively handle DFS replication (DFSR).
The backend is a Dell PowerVault SAN which connects to the two nodes via iSCSI.

I would like to know what is the best procedure to back this up. Since we'll have a BNR server backing up the virtuals, I can use managed agents from there. Is there a particular section of https://www.veeam.com/kb2463 that I should focus on for a distributed file system cluster such as this?

Something which is very important with DFS setups is to backup the primary copy if you have that setup. Seems counterintuitive... naturally you'd think of backing up the copy rather than the primary so you're not adding load to the primary. But if a DFS resynchronization happens then all the data on the copy can change and Veeam will recognize that as new data and back it up a second time.

I believe the document you linked to is the same one I followed to backup our DFS clusters.
