Unable to restore to NFS datastore

Hi,

I'm in the process of evaluating Veeam backup. I'm trying to restore an entire VM to an NFS datastore (just a redhat server exporting a datastore directory, where the VM files live), but I'm always getting this error:

Failed to restore item "<vm name>". Inactive datastore nfs.

I get the same error message (inactive datastore) when I try to expand nfs datastore.

Am I missing something?

Hello, can you access the datastore using VIC Datastore Browser?

Yes, I can access the datastore using VIC browser. Virtual Center, VCB and Veeam Backup are all installed on the same physical machine (in case it matters...)

In that case I think we will need all logs from Help | Support Information to investigate. Please send those to support@veeam.com.

That is not a problem, as explained in the Technical Support section of the Release Notes we do provide assistance during evaluation period. Besides, it is in our best interest to carefully investigate all possible problems with the product.

I have a similar problem here. Inactive Datastore. Again an NFS store that is fine via the vi client. Any suggestions?
