Folder/VM move task audit? "Move Entities task"

Post by lando_uk »

Hi

Looking any my vcenter folders, I'm having trouble finding out who moved something into a certain folder.

When i look at Tasks on the specific folder in vcenter, it tells me that domain/user moved something, but no details of what was moved.

I've run an Infrastructure changes audit from Veaam One reporter, but that only shows Events and not Tasks - Am i missing something?

Thanks

Hi,
Try to click on VC in Veeam ONE Monitor and then on "Tasks & Events" tab.
You can find and even filter tasks there.
Thanks!

Checked that, it doesn't tell you what was moved, no details unfortunately.

Looks like vSphere doesn't provide that kind of information.
The task says only that entities were moved to the particular target by particular user.

I think the details might be in the vcenter server vpxd.log somewhere.
