Agent wont Start service

Hello all!

I'm having an issue installing Veeam Agent for Windows on a Windows 10 Enterprise OS.

As soon as the install finishes, it will not start the service. It is a fresh windows 10 install, fresh SQL Express install, and it will not start the service.

Has anyone else had some success fixing this? I've seen a couple of the other posts in the forum, but no help in my situation.

Hi Brian,

Could you please make sure that all OS updates are installed, restart the machine, and after that try starting the service manually? If no luck - please contact our support team directly for a comprehensive investigation.

Fedor,

I did open a support case, still waiting to hear back.

The installation is on a fresh install, fully updated and patched. I did restart and try to start manually and it starts, and immediately stops. Error logs say that the SQL service couldn't start.
