Run cmdlet across all backup servers

Post by eeldivad »

I know we can use connect-vbrserver to connect to a backup server and then I can run cmdlets against that. But is there a way to query list of all VMs across all backup servers without having to connect to each backup server? Doesn't veeam have a central database since the web portal can show me all machines across all backup servers. Or should I use the rest API to get that?

You cannot do that via PowerShell. By the way, what web portal is meant here? Thanks!

There is a web portal where you can manage and view backups. The title is Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager. I would send screenshot but I can't upload pics to this forum. If anyone knows a good way to search all backup servers to see if a VM exists with successful backups, I would appreciate it.

Thanks

If you want to do that via PowerShell, you will need to connect to all you backup servers one by one - there is no way around that. Thanks!
