Folks,
I have inserted a cleaning tape into our tape library. Veeam B&R put it in the "Unrecognized" media pool, and the barcode is read as CLNU04L1. Do I have to do anything with it, or does Veeam already know that this is a cleaning tape, and will use it when required?

Re: Tape drive cleaning
Hi PJ.
Cleaning tapes are stored in the Unrecognized media pool, so nothing to worry about. All you need to do - enable tape cleaning option in the tape library properties via Veeam B&R console. Please make sure that automated tape cleaning is disabled in the native library console (otherwise you might get additional drive cleaning runs).
