Tenant-Side Network-Extension-Appliance IP change

Post by rleon »

Hi all,

We have a Veeam environment that connects to a Veeam Cloud Connect Service Provider for backup and Replication.
From the Tenant side, during the initial configuration, when adding the Veeam Cloud Connect Service Provider, one of the step is to create the Tenant-Side NEA and assign an IP address.
Like in this image from the document: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... l?ver=95u4

Now, there is a need to change the IP address of this Tenant-Side NEA, but there does not seem to be a way to access the above NEA configuration page again.
When you right click the Cloud Service Provider and click Properties, the only thing you can now change is the cloud credentials. The NEA configuration step is now missing.
Is there a way to change the Tenant-side NEA's IP once deployed? Is this a glitch?

Thanks all.

Hey there... you should be able to step past those first few password related steps and once authenticated to the provider, should be able to see the CCR resources and also the section for the NEA.

Hi Anthony,

That's what I'm saying. When I edit the properties of the provider, my screen doesn't look like yours.
Mine only shows Service Provider, Credentials, Apply and Summary.
Yours also show Replica Resources and Network Extensions, which is what I need but can't access.
That's why I'm thinking this might be a glitch.
I'm running 9.5 update 3a by the way.

Yes, possibly. Once you authenticate you should see the resources the provider has allocated to you.

You want to reconfirm with your VCSP that the tenant account is still configured correctly... further to that, upgrading to 4(a) should be done regardless...though would be interested if it was a glitch as you say due to tenant-VCSP version mismatch.

Hi Anthony,

Turns out you're right when you said "Once you authenticate you should see the resources the provider has allocated to you."
All I needed to do was just to click Apply, then the missing options showed up.
Thanks for your help.
