Re: Vmware V6.7U1 in Update4
Yes, new builds of the same release are supported by default, as they are nothing but hotfix roll ups. If the particular hotfix causes issues with Veeam, thanks to the sheer size of our customer base we usually know about this days after the actual hotfix was released - well before the new vSphere build containing one is available. This only happened once in my memory though, that a vSphere hotfix broke something in Veeam. Thanks!

[MERGED] vCenter Appliance 6.7 U1b and Veeam B&R 9.5 update 4
Hello everyone,
i just upgraded our B&R Veeam solution with 9.5 update 4 (from update 3).
Our farm with a vCenter Appliance 6.5 and 9 nodes ESXi 6.5 work perfectly.
We are testing another farm with vCenter Appliance 6.7 U1b (release date: 2019-01-17) with 11 nodes ESXi 6.7 U1 (release date:10/16/2018 build 10302608) with some test vm's on our new NFSv3 datastore (netapp fas8020) but sometimes goes wrong. Randomly the jobs of Veeam stuck at 99%. It's a drama because if i try to stop immediately the jobs i didn't receive a response, i can't be able to poweroff anymore the vm's from vsphere client, if i shut down the node that manage that vm's the HA of vcenter passes them to another node.. anyway i have to kill the vm via ssh with esxcli command kill..
Before investigating on another kind of errors, i'd like to know if someone knows if there is fully compatibility with the vCenter (6.7U1b) and Veeam B6R 9.5 update 4.
I read that the compatilility is for 6.7 U1 but not for 6.7 U1b.
Any help is appreciated, thanks

Re: Vcenter and Veeam version
Hi Sutirtha,
You can check the list of compatibility in the KB2443.
Please review the first post in the big discussion here for the workaround, but it's recommended to use the most recent version of the product. Thanks!

Re: Vcenter and Veeam version
HI Grinev,
Thanks for the reply . I could see the suggestion is to use 9.5 update 4 . However in my environment I have EMC data domain which we will use as Repo with version 6.0 and DD boost as version 3.1 and Host is 2016 server .
If we plan to use the 9.5 update 4 will it support the DD versions.

It's supported by Veeam B&R Update 4 starting from DD OS version 5.6, you can see it here System Requirements. Thanks!
