Errors browsing backups

Post by mlange »

Almost all of my backups are throwing this error when I try to browse them: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. It only appears once I expand our organization and it starts to load the list of users. I've seen this error referenced and patched in version 2, but we're currently on version 3.0.0.422. I've opened case #03554684, but figured I'd throw this out here as well.

Hi mlange,

You should have indeed received a hotfix which we know it has fixed the issue with other customers. Please let us know (and support) what went wrong with this hotfix if you applied it. I hope it is simple a step you missed :-)

I don't know if I had a bad download or something happened during a copy or something but it's working now. In all three directories you could see the .dll's that were replaced Friday. I downloaded the hotfix again and applied these .dll's over the one's from Friday and it seems to be working now.

I'm getting the same problem and i'm on the same version.
When i expand out the SharePoint Sites, using the Veeam Explorer for Microsoft SharePoint it gives me "Object reference not set to an instance of an object".
Is someone able to give me the link to this Hotfix, because i'm using the exact same version number: 3.0.0.422
Veeam Explorer for Microsoft SharePoint Version Number: 9.5.4.2399/422

You'll have to open a support case to get it.

Simeon, mlange is correct. Even if you are running the community edition, you will be able to open the case and get a support ticket

Simeon,

You will get it. Support on the community edition is without SLA so we don't guarantee response times but eventually we will reach out to you. Can you post the support case ID here and afterwards let us know if everything is OK?

Thanks
Mike
