RestoreVESQLDatabaseCmdlet permission

Hi,

I am using the cmdlet and trying to use a service account. I have given it dbcreator role on the sql instance and is an administrator on veeam and sql server.

+ FullyQualifiedErrorId : Failed to get access to SQL Server TestSQL123.,Veeam.SQL.PowerShell.RestoreVESQLDatabaseCmdlet

What else am i missing?

Hi Inoi,

As per the documentation, for restore, the account must be granted the sysadmin role on the target server.
