Office365 backup performance Azure vs AWS

Hello,

We ran a successful POC for O365 backing up to AWS but I am wondering whether using Azure is a better option as backup throughput may be better as both is hosted by Microsoft. Does anyone have any experience with data throughput using Azure vs AWS? We have around 130TB to backup.

It mostly depends on the amount of data being processed at the same time where you'll notice the throttling. While O365 datacenters are within Azure datacenters, they should be seen as separate instances. The only real advantage in Azure is the lower cost factor (ingress & egress charges - unless you hardly restore things ).
