monthly/Quarterly/yearly backup set

Hi All,

We would like to setup copy jobs like 4 Weekly, 3 Monthly, 1 Quarterly and 1 yearly backup in our our backup environment.
For Example My server full backup taking 100 GB.
How much space required to setup above all backup sets for this server??

Any file system except ReFS:
[1 (simple retention) + 4 (gfs: weekly) + 3 (gfs: monthly) + 1 (gfs: quarterly) + 1 (gfs: yearly)]* 100 GB = 1 TB

With ReFS (which we recommend) about 2-3x less.

You can also use the Restore Point Simulator to calculate this by select Backup Copy Job as the style and then entering in the required info.
