Recommended settings for QNAP NAS as a Repository

Hello,

Is there any documented best practice or recommended settings for using a QNAP NAS (TS-1279U-RP) as a repository?

It will present block storage via iSCSI to a physical Windows Server, and I will configure backup jobs with smaller VMs to use it as a target.

The general recommendation is to expose it via ISCSI and you've seem to got it already.
