Hi.
A customer has a 2003 server running as a virtual machine on his Windows 10 computer.
Will he be able to restore this VM bu running a veeam agent on the windows 10 hyper-v machine?
I guess there will be in best case a not-crash consitent backup (like power off) state of the backup?

the setup is not really "best practice", but I see no show stopper.
Yes, power off the machine first is a good idea. For restore: only full VM restore works as you can only restore the full VHDX (well, you could also mount the VHDX manually).

just what I am thinking as well.
during a backup on the host and the 2003 vm is running, will the state be "crashed constient", as if we were plugging out the "power" of the vm state during restore?
