Veeam Monitor SLOW!

Hi Guy's

I'm currently evaluating this software and it's really slow! Is this normal!?

If anybody has overcome this please advise.

Hello, what do you mean by "slow"?
What operations exactly take long time?
We have not heard such feedback before.

Could you please elaborate?

e.g. If i highlight my datcenter, then select the Summary,Overall or Tops tab all i see is that spinning icon in the top right and nothing ever appears.

Hmm, to me it looks like there is a problem with the SQL server database that you use for Veeam Monitor. All the data there should appear nearly instant.

What kind of problem with the database? are there any know issues that might cause this slowness.

If it should be nearly instant, then I see slowness as well, but eventually the data does come up. This is on a quad cpu 3GHz with 4GB, 2GB free.

For example, with 7 ESX hosts it takes about 3-4 min to bring up the tops for Virtual Infrastructure. For an individual host, it's around a min.

We are using the SQL software included in the package. Advanced scalability is off.

This is strange (and definitely not normal/expected). We would like to investigate this if possible. Could you perform a few actions that take long time again, and then send us all latest UI logs to support@veeam.com including link to this topic. You can access the logs location using the Monitor Settings application.

I have not since any updates about this issue here for a couple of weeks now.
If anyone still has this problem, please let me know in this thread what is your support case number.
