Direct (SAN/NFS) feature

Just a simple question, I didn't find any litterature on this subject.
Do you need at Enterprise license level or is it available already available from the Standard (even community)

You can utilize any transport mode even in the free community edition of the product. Thanks!

There is a small correction. Backup from Storage Snapshot (BfSS) is available with the Storage Snapshot integration in Enterprise Version only.

With Community Edition or higher all others are possible
Network (NBD)
Virtual Appliance Mode (HotAdd)
Direct Storage (Direct SAN / Direct NFS)

I found my colleague didn't setup right its proxy for Direct usage

Ah thanks for the feedback. For the record, if you share the volumes for Direct Storage mode after Proxy Veeam Software setup, then you need to wait for the regular rescan to enable Direct Storage access. You can force this by Rescan... option of the the "Managed Server" that helds the Proxy role (Backup Infrastructure- Managed Servers).
