Surebackup issue

I created an Application group consisting of a Tomcat Server and a MYSQL server. I created a Surebackup with no scrips running. basically I just want to verify they both start up and I can access the DB application through the Tomcat server.

My job keeps on failing with the following message when trying to start the first VM: VMware Tools did not start in a timely manner

I even unchecked the "VMtools is present" box and set the timeouts to 600...still no luck

Any idea?
