[Feature Request] multiple Backupjobs to Shared folder or eSATA

Scenario:
Mon-Sat backup only C: to a shared folder or USB or eSATA
Sunday: backup entire Workstation (C:, D: and so on) also to the same lokation (NOT to Cloud Connect or backup repository)
Why is it not possible now??

Not possible with the Free version of Veeam Agent for Windows, but if you have a license you can setup multiple backup jobs on a single device.

Since you backing up separate sets of data, I would say you would definitely need separate backup jobs in order for incremental backups to work.

Yes i tried creating two independet jobs, WITH a workstation license! Without i got before a error that i should buy a license. Now i have one and it is also not possible... :-/

Open Veeam Agent UI, in the menu click About and then open the license page. Check that mode is set to Server (if required add new license there and change the mode afterwards). Cheers!

Hi,

"Workstation edition does not support multiple jobs to regular backup targets. Additional jobs can only point to Veeam Cloud Connect repositories."

With a server license it is possible to create a second job with a shared folder target, but thats not a really solution.

Frankly speaking, it should not be an issue since you get much more value of the Server edition, and moreover, we offer B&R Community Edition allowing to protect up to three machines with Server edition of VAW at NO cost.

Hope it makes sense.

But you don't have the same options with the server agent, e. g. backup on target connection, so it simply can't replace the workstation agent.
